Objectives
The package is part of the National Programme on Energy Efficiency and Conservation for the 2019 – 2030 period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The objectives include identifying the current status of energy use, detecting limitations and energy-saving potential, while proposing specific solutions to improve energy-use efficiency for energy-intensive enterprises in industrial parks in Hai Phong City.
Activities
Main activities:
- Organize a workshop to disseminate knowledge on energy efficiency and conservation for enterprises and identify enterprises to participate in the assessment;
- Conduct energy audits for 5 enterprises;
- Organize a final workshop to share information on implementation results.
Implementation results:
- The workshop to disseminate knowledge on energy efficiency and conservation was organized on 21/11/2025 with the participation of 41 delegates representing enterprises in industrial parks in Hai Phong and relevant stakeholders. Presentations at the workshop shared policies, regulations and solutions for energy efficiency and conservation. Through the workshop, the implementation team selected 5 representative enterprises to conduct energy audits;
- Energy audits were conducted from 14/11/2025 to 19/12/2025 at 5 enterprises, including information collection, on-site surveys and assessment of the current energy consumption status at the enterprises;
- After completing the on-site assessments, result-sharing sessions were organized directly at the enterprises to present the implementation results;
- The results identified 36 energy-saving solutions, with a total saving potential of approximately 17.9 million kWh of electricity and 68.22 tons of LPG, helping enterprises save approximately VND 41,503 million per year and reduce emissions by around 12,015 tons of CO₂ per year. The energy audit reports were shared with all 5 enterprises and submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
