Expired – Recruitment of Financial Consultant – Green & Circular Agriculture (EU-funded Project)

Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre Co., Ltd. (VNCPC) is implementing the Project: “Developing eco-agriculture (sustainable agriculture) for enterprises in the green and circular agriculture sector in Vietnam” (Eco-Fair WBs), funded by the European Union (EU).

Within the framework of the Project, VNCPC is seeking to recruit 04 Financial Consultants to support enterprises and cooperatives in the green and circular agriculture sector in accessing suitable loan sources at the local level.

Number of positions: 4 consultants

Working location: Each consultant will be in charge of one of the following localities: Bac Giang, Tuyen Quang, Binh Dinh, and Kien Giang.

Scope of work:

  • Support enterprises and cooperatives with green and circular agriculture initiatives in accessing preferential loans and sustainable development support funds at the local level;
  • Act as a local focal point/collaborator to facilitate connection and information exchange between enterprises/cooperatives and financial institutions, banks, and available local lending funds.
  • Provide advice and guidance to enterprises and cooperatives in preparing and submitting loan applications to suitable financial sources.

Main tasks:

  • Review and develop a list of local financial institutions, banks, and support funds that offer loan programs relevant to green agriculture, low-emission production, environmental protection, and responsible investment, such as Agribank, Vietcombank, Farmers’ Support Fund, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, and other relevant funding sources.
  • Collect information and develop a list of at least 20 local enterprises and cooperatives with financing needs.
  • Analyze and assess their access to finance and select 06 potential enterprises/cooperatives for in-depth support.
  • Guide and support the selected 06 enterprises/cooperatives in preparing and submitting loan proposals; ensure that at least 02 loan applications are successfully approved in each locality.

Qualification requirements:

  • University degree in economics, finance, banking, or other relevant fields.
  • At least 5–10 years of experience in finance, banking, credit advisory, financial analysis, or economic efficiency assessment of production and business projects.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience working with small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, the agriculture sector, green finance, agricultural/rural credit, or sustainable development programs.
  • Ability to work independently, build local connections, synthesize information, and support enterprises/cooperatives in completing loan application dossiers.

Working period: Part-time, from 15 April 2025 to 31 August 2027.
