Green credit connection promotes low-emission circular agriculture
On July 24, 2026, in Bac Ninh, the Vietnam Cleaner Production Center Co.Ltd. (VNCPC) in coordination with the Vietnam Institute of Rural Industry Research and Development (VIRI), the Farmers’ Union and relevant units organize a sharing event “Green credit connection promotes low-emission circular agriculture”.
The activity is implemented within the framework of the Program “Development of Eco-fair women businesses in green and circular agriculture sector in Vietnam (Eco-fair WBs)”, funded by the European Union (EU).
The sharing event will hold in person at the Bac Ninh Provincial Convention Center, and simultaneously connect online with bridge points in Tuyen Quang, Gia Lai and An Giang provinces. The program aims to support agricultural enterprises, cooperatives, production households, and business facilities, especially women-owned entities or those with a high proportion of female workers, in improving access to finance and developing green, low-emission, and circular production models.

Bridge between investment needs and capital sources
During the transition of production models, many enterprises and cooperatives have needs to invest in renewing equipment, improving processing capacity, saving energy and water, utilizing by-products, improving packaging, developing raw material areas or expanding production scale. However, many entities still face difficulties in identifying suitable capital sources, understanding loan conditions, preparing documents, proving cash flow and building investment plans that meet the appraisal requirements of financial institutions.
The sharing event will organize to help address these difficulties by providing information on capital sources, credit products and support programs suitable for the green and circular agriculture sector; while creating opportunities for direct exchange between units in need of loans and financial providers.

Guidance on preparing loan applications and feasible loan options
At the sharing event, financial expert will guide enterprises and cooperatives in identifying capital needs, building capital utilization plans, forecasting cash flows and demonstrating repayment capacity.
Besides financial efficiency, enterprises and cooperatives will also be guided on how to demonstrate the environmental and social benefits of their investment plans, such as resource savings, waste and emission reduction, by-product reuse, job creation and local livelihood improvement.
Especially in the discussion session “How can green agriculture enterprises and cooperatives access capital?”, the focus will be on practical obstacles, from collateral, legal documents and cash flow proof to selecting capital sources and completing business plans.
Screening potential investment initiatives
The sharing event not only provides general information but also aims to identify specific loan needs of enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities. Based on the recorded needs, the Organizing Committee will review and screen potential investment initiatives and plans to consider further support for enterprises and cooperatives in building business plans, completing loan applications and connecting with suitable financial institutions.
Through this activity, the Eco-Fair WBs Program expects to contribute to bridging the gap between the investment needs of production units and the requirements of capital providers, thereby promoting financial flow for initiatives that efficiently use resources, reduce emissions, reuse by-products and develop circular agriculture in Vietnam.
