After the stage of training and capacity building, project has selected 10 Myanmar enterprises to support in-depth RECP assessment, which had implemented by VNCPC in cooperation with Sofies (Switzerland). Project duration is from January to June 2018, with two assessment rounds at the plant and organization of a dissemination workshop.

For manufacturing enterprises in Myanmar, this is the first time they have accessed to the RECP programme. Therefore, experts evaluate that the saving potential for energy, chemicals, water and raw materials of enterprises is huge.

Accordingly, soon after receiving the first consultancy report of RECP experts, enterprises have embarked on the implementation of simple solutions, with low investment costs such as insulation, adjusting refrigeration lines, condenser cleaning, adjusting the plastic head, etc. and have achieved very positive results. Even so, many enterprises have planned to change the machinery line to use equipment that is more energy performance and efficient.
