Capacity building on cleaner production

The service is delivered in the framework of training program within serial activities following the Decision No. 1419/QD-TTg approving “Cleaner production Strategy in industry until 2020”.

Specific tasks have been implemented:

Basic training was organized in late August 2019 in Hanoi to equip the trainees with CP implementation methodology and supporting skills for instruct và promote CP application in enterprises. There were 40 trainees participating in the 3-days training. VNCPC’s trainers delivered CP contents including concepts, benefits, case studies and methods for implementation, in which the theory is interwoven with practical exercises, demonstrative examples, and presenting video clips of practices at enterprises.

Advanced cleaner production training session in the training course for certification of energy auditors: In October 2019, VNCPC’s lecturer undertook 1.5 days of advance CP training for 61 trainees aiming to improve their advisory and cleaner production assessment skills, so that trainees are able to act as experts who can undertake the tasks in the local CP promotion program.

The contents included auditing skills; experience and skills in field assessments, calculation tools in rapid assessment and development of cleaner production reports following the standards of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
