Overall objective: To promote potential innovation in the industry and increase social and environmental quality of the products produced in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia

The specific objective: The specific objective of this project is in the end, SPIN will be deployed for at least 500 enterprises in five industrial sectors in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia (food processing, textile, footwear, handicraft and furniture) to develop and produce more sustainable and advanced products for the domestic, regional and European markets

  • SPIN Toolkit 5 applications used in industry (handicrafts, furniture, food processing, textiles, leather and footwear), focusing on marketing and policy issues. SPIN includes three Toolkit version with the final version is Do- It- Yourself ( free application for enterprises)
  • Build the regional capacity, co-ordination with AITVN in training for about 100 lecturers on Sustainable Products Innovation and Master and PhD exchange programme
  • SPIN has been implemented in 500 companies of Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia with  2000 products  redesigned towards higher sustainability
  • Small and Medium Enterprises know how to market for sustainable products in the domestic market and for export ; domestic demand for these products will increase through widespread propaganda
  • Manipulating the project,  training of marketing skills, marketing through trade fairs, list of products, organizing display exhibitions of SPIN products , promoting Sustainable Public Policy with 30 governmental organizations
  • Introducing Sustainable Living Space – Green Street at 45 Bat Su, Hanoi, which displays the products are developed and supported in the project
