Over 100,000 trade visitors including buyers, suppliers, media and other seafood-industry professionals from over 100 countries attended the 2014 fair to meet face to face and do business.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/1.webp\"><img data-dominant-color=\"8ca4a0\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #8ca4a0;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6030 aligncenter not-transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/1-300x169.webp\" alt=\"1\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/1-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/1.webp 678w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The SWITCH-Asia project &#8220;<a title=\"SUPA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.switch-asia.eu\/projects\/pangasius-supply-chain-in-vietnam\/?tx_switchasia_projects%5Bcontroller%5D=Project&amp;cHash=bccb7853fa19fc7006feea1ded63d193\">Establishing a Sustainable Pangasius Supply Chain in Vietnam<\/a>&#8221; (SUPA) of which VNCPC is a lead partner and other partners as VASEP, WWF-Vietnam, WWF Austria, participated in the Exhibition and was introduced to international organizations, importers and retailers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2.webp\"><img data-dominant-color=\"93928a\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #93928a;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6031 aligncenter not-transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2-300x169.webp\" alt=\"2\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2.webp 680w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The SUPA project also sponsored for five Vietnamese enterprises to attend the &#8220;European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe&#8221; for market connection. On the opening day, the Vietnam Seafood Exhibition booth saw the presence of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, H.E. Pham Sanh Chau and representatives of the Directorate of Fisheries, representatives of Vietnam Television in Europe together with international organizations, importers, media and manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/3.webp\"><img data-dominant-color=\"576d76\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #576d76;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6032 aligncenter not-transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/3-300x169.webp\" alt=\"3\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/3-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/3.webp 674w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Delivering the opening presentation, Mr Nguyen Viet Manh, Director of Scientific &amp; Technological and International Cooperation Department from the Directorate of Fisheries (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), emphasized the importance of fisheries industry to the Vietnamese economic sector structure and committed to the international community toward a sustainable development orientation for Vietnamese seafood, particularly pangasius.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/4.webp\"><img data-dominant-color=\"634f3e\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #634f3e;\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6033 aligncenter not-transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/4-300x168.webp\" alt=\"4\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/4-300x168.webp 300w, https:\/\/vncpc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/4.webp 673w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">After the press briefing\/conference, Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau visited the Vietnam Seafood Exhibition booth and was introduced about the SUPA project and the initial achievement in building a sustainable supply chain for its pangasius in the period 2013-2017.
